OSTAR provide three years warranty for the Lead Acid replacement series,and five years warranty for other series, the warranty mentioned above is starting from the shipping date and under ambient temperature 25℃ +/- 5℃.
Conditions and claims procedure are set out as below.
CONDITIONS
● The battery must be installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable OSTAR Lithium ion battery Operation Manual,including storage,charging,discharging.
● A battery will not be considered defective unless it fails to reach the nominal capacity recovery ratio specified in Chinese national standards during the charging process within the warranty period.
● User agrees that the manufacturer or his agent s hall be granted inspection access with reasonable notice .
● The warranty will be invalid,If the temperature exceeds the specifications of the battery,
● Warranty is void if the battery becomes defective due to fire, wreckage, freezing, neglect, abuse, improper transportation and improper operation or maintenance, and other damage contrived, parts of the battery are tampered with or modified or the battery is serviced by persons not authorized by OSTAR.
● Warranty is void if the batteries are used in conjunction with non-OSTAR batteries .
CLAIMS
● Contact original point of purchase for written instructions on applicable warranty claim procedures and send the relevant battery picture and detailed testing report.
● After confirming the defective batteries by OSTAR or OSTAR local agent, the batteries will be repaired or replaced based on the original purchase price and the portion of the warranty term remaining to be applied towards the purchase of a replacement battery.
● If any battery be returned or exchanged and without written confirmation from OSTAR, Any freight charges incurred are at the user’s expense.
LIMITATIONS
The above mentioned guarantee is the only warranty and remedies provided by OSTAR to the user for the defective battery confirmed by OSTAR finally.OSTAR disclaims all implied warrantees of merchantability and fitness. And do not take any implicative or related responsibility.
